Ontario Schools To Remain Open For Reported Stay-At-Home Order, Says Minister Of Education
The Ontario government is expected to announce a provincewide stay-at-home order on Wednesday to stop the spread of COVID-19.
However, Ontario Minister of Education Stephen Lecce said schools will remain open.

Lecce told CP24 that the new order "will not involve any closures of schools. It was our promise to keep schools open and to keep them safe.”
The minister has also said that "99% of students and staff have no active cases."
Despite the announcement, multiple cities have already made the decision to shut down schools. The City of Toronto announced on Tuesday that all students would be learning online for at least two weeks.
