Jordan Goetz and her two daughters, 6-year-old Ember and 5-year-old Hailey, had been evacuated from Merritt, B.C. before the three of them were involved in a collision.

Some of B.C.'s busiest highways have suffered substantial damage during the heavy rain and mudslides the province saw over the past 48 hours.

Between 80 and 100 vehicles were trapped between two mudslides on Highway 7 near Agassiz. Search and rescue teams were helping people in the vehicles through Monday with air support.

A press release linked in the tweet, titled "No zoomy zoom on the slicky slick or you'll go boom boom," refers to a collision in Merritt, B.C., and tells people to drive extra carefully on the Coquihalla Highway and Highway 97C now that winter weather is here.
