In an interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times, Jason Miller — a former Trump campaign strategist — shared that "the president has said he feels happier now than he’s been in some time."

Following the U.S. Capitol riots in January, Trump was banned from several social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
But according to Miller, those bans, along with the former president's exit from office, have actually done Trump some good.
In the interview, the ex-aide said it's been "the first time in years that I saw the president truly relaxed."
Former first lady Melania Trump reportedly "loves" her husband's absence from social media as well and shared, "he’s much happier and is enjoying himself much more."
Miller believes that during his time as president, Trump was subject to a "hateful echo chamber" while he was trying to fulfill the duties of the highest office.
"Only 45 other people in US history have experienced what it is like to have the world on their shoulders... and to be able to exhale, knowing that it’s not all on you, for the first time in four years," said Miller.
