You'll Need To Show Proof Of Vaccination At Scotiabank Arena & BMO Field Starting This Fall
Prepare to come armed with your proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result at your next live sporting event or concert in Toronto this fall.
Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) — the company that owns many of the largest arenas and stadiums in Toronto — just announced it will be requiring proof of vaccination at all of its venues.

"To continue to combat the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, MLSE announced that effective mid-September attendees (including employees, event staff and guests) will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result to gain access to its arenas, stadium and restaurants," MLSE said in the announcement.
MLSE is the parent company of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Raptors, Toronto FC, and the Toronto Argonauts, and owns or operates all of the venues its teams play and train in, including the Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field, Coca-Cola Coliseum, Ford Performance Centre, BMO Training Ground, and the OVO Athletic Centre.
"We believe these health and safety protocols are the key to allowing our communities and businesses to reopen safely, to permit full capacity events, and to protect against further lockdowns," MLSE continued.
Further details and dates on when these new rules will kick in at all of its venues will be announced in the coming weeks, MLSE said.
