When is the gym going to reopen?
The Ontario government announced on Friday that outdoor fitness classes can reopen as of Monday, March 29, 2021, at 12:01 a.m.
However, only 10 people are allowed in a class at a time and you need to make a reservation in advance.
While you will finally be able to get your sweat on outdoors, not all fitness facilities are reopening.
Residents in the grey zone are still not allowed to enter indoor gyms.
Are salons going to reopen in the grey zone?
If you live in the grey zone, you will finally be able to get a haircut next month.
The government announced on Friday that most personal services will be able to reopen by Monday, April 12, 2021, at 12:01 a.m.
This includes hair salons, barbershops, body art establishments and nail salons.
However, personal services that require the removal of a face covering, as well as saunas and steam rooms, will remain closed.
What other rules and regulations are in the grey zone?
Outdoor capacity limits for weddings, funerals, and religious services will also be increased as of March 29, so long as two metres of distance can be maintained.
Under lockdown, indoor gatherings are still prohibited, unless you are with the same members of your household.
On top of this, you are only allowed to gather outdoors with a maximum of 10 people and physical distancing must be maintained at all times.
While outdoor dining, retail shops, animal services and drive-in theatres are permitted to open, other venues are still required to keep their doors closed.
Indoor dining is not permitted, while casinos and cinemas are also forced to stay shuttered.
Is Windsor in the grey zone?
Windsor-Essex is currently in the red zone. However, there are some other regions that are still in lockdown.
The City of Hamilton will move into the grey zone as of Monday, March 29.
The city will join Toronto, Peel, Thunder Bay, Sudbury and Lambton.
Are DriveTest locations open in the grey zone?
If you are in the grey zone, you are currently unable to book any passenger road tests.
Road tests are only available to residents who are living in red, orange, yellow and green zones.
The company states that anyone in the grey zone that tries to book a test in a lower zone region will be turned away.
