Ottawa is a beautiful city, and all of its gothic revival buildings are definitely an amazing sight. Not to mention the two rivers, the Ottawa River and the Rideau River, which flow right through the capital. But when it comes to the Ottawa-Toronto rivalry (is there much of one?), Ottawa sometimes seems to have a serious inferiority complex.

The O-Train: The somewhat unnecessary rail line that connects LeBreton Flats to a Wal-Mart in South Keys. To some it's extra. To others, it's just simply fascinating.

It's not the usual way of transit here in Ottawa, but for some it's still a daily ritual to take the train. It's about ten times less miserable that the bus, but we're still having some thoughts racing through our head when taking it. Here's 39 of these which practically everybody has:

There must be some reason why people are still coming to "the city that fun forgot." And if that reason's school, then this school's got to be lit. One of the best in the country.

Perched on a lake at the crossroads of a canal and a river is Carleton U. For almost 75 years, Carleton's been providing not only some of the best academics in the country, but also some of the most vibrant student life in the city. Their secluded campus of greenery and tunnels is one of the nicest in the country.
