Ontario MPP Is On Blast For Collab With Group That Compares Abortion To The Holocaust
Ontario MPP Sam Oosterhoff is facing backlash after being billed as the featured speaker of an event planned by an anti-choice group.
"Gen Z: Challenging Abortion In Politics," is set to take place on Wednesday, March 17 and is hosted by the National Campus Life Network, a group that has previously compared abortion to the holocaust.

Fellow MPP Marit Stiles took to Twitter to demand that Ontario Minister of Education Stephen Lecce, for whom Oosterhoff serves as a parliamentary assistant, should "publicly denounce this group and Oosterhoff should step down."
In a press conference on Monday, Ford stated that while "everyone has the right to believe what they want, nothing should ever be compared to the Holocaust" and said he would speak with the MPP.
This isn't the first time Oosterhoff has attracted negative attention — in October 2020, the MPP posted a photo of himself and dozens of other unmasked people, prompting a wave of backlash.
Narcity has reached out to Sam Oosterhoff's office for comment and will update the story once we receive a response.
