While most of us would love to get out and feed our wanderlust, we find that our bank accounts are asking us to think again. Luckily for us on October 12, Plano is having a massive International Festival that is bringing the best the world has to offer straight to Haggard Park in Plano.

The festival is free to the public and will offer a little taste of everything. Over 100 countries will be represented, each bringing traditional dances, food, and tons of games. You'll see the stage come to life with tons of colorful performances!

Pumpkin spiced items are already hitting the shelves but we plan on soaking up every last bit of summer that we can. Often during the summer months, it's hard to find things to do in Plano with your dog. Lucky for us, Plano is having their K-9 Kerplunk Dog Swim this Sunday, September 8.

The event lets you enjoy the day with you pup by bringing him/her to the Parks and Recreation event held at Oak Point Recreation Center. You and your pup will be able to soak up with water and sun in the outdoor pool from 9 a.m. to noon. While you hang around, let your dog socialize with other dogs and maybe even play a few games of fetch. Pets who attend the event don't have to be on a leash but they do have to be up to date on all their shots. If all the excitement makes you a bit hungry, the event will also have lemonade and snacks for all to enjoy.

The new theater will be located in The Shops at Willow Bend and will feature 10 screens. Cinépolis is known for being a luxurious movie theater that caters to all the comforts the audiences want. The theater features fully reclining leather seats, a full bar and in-waiter service. You can also download their app to pre-order food before you even get to the theater.
