So much to do, so little time. Sigh... doesn't that pretty much sum up the whole semester? Actually wait nvm, that pretty much sums up every. single. day. And when you're a student, you chill for like a sec and before you know it your six midterms behind and a hundred assignments away from semester break. It's worse right now too cause we're halfway through the semester, which means midterms after midterms.

But don't worry Vancouverites, we got you. We know that on top of school, work, sports, extracurriculars, volunteering, campus clubs, and a significant other, you also need to fit in a social life. Because as The Spice Girls say, friendship never ends! But when it can feel impossible, we're here to tell you mission impossible can be achieved.

Congratulations! You're one of the thousands of students lucky enough to be doing their undergrad in Toronto. No matter what college or university you're attending, and no matter what program, you are getting the chance to live in one of the greatest cities in the world. Whether you have been a Torontonian your whole life, or are the new blood in town, going to one of the cities post-secondary institutions is pretty amazing.

While being in a relationship while still in school can be great, there are just as many great things about being single, as well as just as many bad things associated with both.

From the frustration or hilarity of using dating apps to the awkward first date phase of a relationship, to finally getting butterflies when you meet someone you click with, there are just so many things that make being single in university a memorable experience. And not for nothing, if all else fails you at least end up having some great stories to tell and wild nights out with your gal pals to enjoy.

Going to Carleton was one of the best decisions of my life. There's a ton of reasons why people should be studying there.

But, studying there for four years also showed the darker sides of things at times. The school has small quirks, but they all seem really big at the time when they're happening.

There comes a time when adulting becomes a thing. It's actually sorta spooky. We've spent our entire lives in school going through the same old daily routine and now we have to become grownups. We got to apply for big kid jobs, save money for retirement and take daily commutes on the OC Transpo. Awful.

This is what uni led us to. Mistakes were made on the way. One or two, but that's life. It's not worth going through life with regret, but there's definitely a few things I wish my freshman self knew. K, maybe a lot of things.
