The wait is almost over, at just over a week away the state's biggest fruit festival will welcome crowds of hungry spectators eager to dig in on gourmet desserts. Just as expected the 2019 Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City will have a huge array of amazing strawberry infused dishes.
The Plant City-based festival will start on February 28 and run until March 10, giving you a full 11 days of nothing but locally farmed strawberry goodness. Each year, over 500,000 visitors enjoy the festival’s headline entertainment, youth livestock shows, rides, exhibits of commerce and, of course, its strawberry shortcake.
