This Wildlife Preserve In Florida Offers Some Of The Most Unreal Views Of The Sky

Far and wide, there's no denying that the Sunshine State is home to some of the most gorgeous places to explore nature; Babcock Webb Wildlife Management Area is no exception, offering up some of the most picturesque views of the natural Florida landscape.

Grab your BFF or boo and take a spontaneous road trip for an enchanting nature escape. This little piece of wildlife paradise sits comfortably nestled along the west coast in Punta Gorda, waiting for you to explore its diverse beauty.

The park protects 65,750 acres of land, perfect for viewing some of Florida's native wildlife — particularly rare & endangered species of bird and small critters. You may even see a gator loungin' in the Florida Sunshine — like going on your very own little hiking wildlife safari.

Some have even run into deer and cow on their adventures at the park — lovingly nicknaming them "swamp cows". You never know what wonderful wildlife you'll see on your visit.

Of course, the animals live among the park's stunning scenic landscape — from mature pine forests to perfect prairies, magnificent marshes, pine flatwoods, and even the gorgeous Webb Lake, the views you can see exploring this park truly speak for themselves. The sunsets here are absolutely incredible.

If you happen to enjoy camping, it's secluded enough from light pollution for some spectacular stargazing around a campfire. Sharpen up your long exposure photography skills to get some incredible shots of the stars and our Milky Way Galaxy.

They even have great conditions for a meteor shower viewing.

If you like to hunt or fish, Babcock Webb also offers the perfect setting for you to cast your line. Whether you want to hike the trails during the day, fish on a weekend afternoon, or camp overnight for the starry sky views, there are so many unreal sights to see at Babcock Webb Wildlife Management Area.
