The magic of climbing on a hot air balloon is something that never seems to get old, no matter if it's your first time or you're seasoned to the experience. From the moment you see the colorful balloon from a distance to when you're finally inside the basket, your heartbeat rises in expectation for the adventure. If you crave this kind of emotion in your life right now, get ready because you'll be able to take cheap hot air balloon rides near Tampa soon.
Both free and tethered balloon rides will be available at this festival (weather permitting) starting at only $20.
Festival-goers will also enjoy mesmerizing balloon glows, the mass ascension of balloons mornings and evenings, and tons of fun activities for people of all ages.
You'll probably attend this fest for the colorful balloons, but you'll stay for the yummy food & drinks, the arts and craft vendors, helicopter rides, and aerialist performances.
This will be the ultimate experience for hot air balloon lovers in Central Florida, so grab your tickets while they last.
You can purchase weekend passes for just $20 until February 25. After that, prices rise to $15 per day.
If you want to fly up, up and away, there will be balloon flights on mornings and afternoons both Saturday, February 29, and Sunday, March 1. Balloons will leave the ground two hours after sunrise and the last two hours before sunset, mostly because the wind is best for a triumphant ascension at those hours.
You'll be able to climb on your favorite one, whether you want to go for a tethered ride ($20 per person) or a flyout (from $250 per person), booking your spot in advance will be a necessity. Check all the information and pick your balloon here.
While you wait for your ride (or after your magical fly), grab a drink from the beer garden with your friends or your s/o. Then, you can get a spot near the stage to enjoy artistic performances.
There will be live music provided by the Rico Monaco Band with Tito Puente Jr. as a special guest. Other notorious performances on the schedule include a concert by Tracey Coryell, and a dancing presentation by On Pointe Dance Academy.
Other fun activities include an archery tag and a fun kid's zone for the children.
If you are interested in staying the night on the festival grounds, you can do so as well! Camping on site is open from February 27. All campers must check-in upon arrival, and you can purchase a wristband and read all the necessary details for a sweet stay right here.
