What can be better than a massive food festival with tons of different juicy burgers? Well, maybe all the delicious bites plus free beer for everyone and a stage with uninterrupted live music performances. If this sounds up your alley, don't miss the Beer & Burger Throw Down this April 2020. Get ready for the tasty food festival in Tampa next month, so make sure to mark your calendar.
This is the 6th iteration of the event that will be taking over the picturesque Safety Harbor Waterfront Park. The festivities will take place on Saturday, April 18, from noon to 8:00 p.m.
General admission is only $10, making it an affordable day out to enjoy with your crew.
You and your pals can chow down on over 50 different tasty burger creations handcrafted by 18 of the best local Burger Restaurants and Food Trucks in the Tampa Bay Area competing for the title of Tampa's Tastiest Burg.
You can pair your yummy bites with free beer from select breweries, with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages also available for purchase if you need a break from the brews.
Free beers will only be available between noon and 3 p.m. or until supplies run dry.
Once you try all the competing burgs, every attendee can cast their vote for who they think should win the best burger title. Will your winner be a burg with more classic tastes, or something more creative and over-the-top?
Some of the burger joints and food trucks that are already confirmed to attend are Bacon Boss Food Truck, Vanchetta, Renegade Burger Co., Jazzy B Grille, The Kitchen Food Truck by Devin Davis, Jimmy Bodeans, Slidder Guys, The Grub Tub, & Slammer Shop.
All burgers will be available for purchase in full size, but if you're lookin' to save some room to try them all, some will have slider versions as well.
Make sure to attend early, so you can pair your tasty burgers with free beers from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. or while supply lasts.
Some of the local craft brewers you can try drafts from are Flying Boat Brewing, Sea Dog Brewing, Palm Harbor Brewery, and Stilthouse Brewing.
Among the live entertainment presentations, you will see performances by Southern Train Band, Panic Fire Band, George Pennington III, and Absolute Queen, a Queen tribute band.
