You'll Feel Like You're In Germany At This Authentic German Themed Restaurant In St. Pete

If there's one thing the Germans are known for it's their brats & beer, we all love to eat and drink after all. You don't have to travel to Germany though to get the most delicious German food. In St. Pete, there's a restaurant that serves up authentic Bavarian fare — and their decor will make you feel like you're actually in Germany.
At Hofbrauhaus in St. Petersburg, every day feels like Oktoberfest. The staff dresses up in full German garb to dance the night away, toots their massive mountain calling horn with hiked-up lederhosen, squeezes music from accordions, & strums on guitar strings. It really creates an immersive experience that will transport you to an authentic German Beer Hall without ever leaving the Sunshine State.
But the vibe is only complete with bites and booze that match the ambiance.
You can munch down on classic German fare like bratwurst, pretzel burgers (Bierkutscher Brezen Burger), pork sausage sandwiches (Riesenbratwurst), Bavarian potato soup (Kartoffelsuppe), and of course a giant pretzel served with Obatzda — a Bavarian Bier cheese, and both sweet and onion mustard. Don't forget to toast with your massive beer stein!
It may feel like Oktoberfest year-round here, but they really kick it up a notch during their Oktoberfest celebrations. The fest started in September and runs until October 31. They host fun games for prizes like their bier stein-hoisting contest running until October 18, music from bands, and special bite and brew deals. Dressing up with the BFFs and showing up is highly encouraged. You might just win the "Hofbrauhaus Sorting Hat."
They suggest making a reservation, but if you decide not to and have to wait to get in you can enjoy a brew on the outdoor Biergarten patio or play bier pong in the Ludwig Room.
We're ready to whisk ourselves away for some Bavarian bites & booze — after all, we deserve it!
If you're looking for more places to feast on some awesome vibes, a Dragon Ball Z-themed noodle eatery will open in Jacksonville soon, or slurp in the sunset views at a spinning rooftop bar near St. Pete Beach.
