Healthy & Vegan Friendly Food Options In Tampa Include Florida's First Avocado Bar

When it comes to the food scene, Florida is cookin' up all sorts of over the top & mouth-watering bites, but sometimes they're not as healthy as we'd like — and it's even harder to find diverse options when you eat vegan. If you're looking for healthy & vegan-friendly food options in Tampa, look no further than Florida's first avocado bar.

Swami Juice has been a local favorite for cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and colorful acai bowls, but the healthy little spot in Tampa just took their game a step further by opening Florida's very first avocado bar. True to its name, you'll find all things avo at their bar'vocado, including toasts & salads piled high with toppings.

You can get your toasts completely meat-free with options like the Avocado Smash, made with avo, heirloom tomato, watermelon radish, micro-greens drizzled with a balsamic glaze or the Mediterranean — made with avo, hummus, feta, olives, heirloom tomato & cucumber.

If you're looking to satisfy your savory cravings go with the Smoked Salmon, made with a smoked pastrami salmon, cream cheese, capers, heirloom tomatoes, red onion, and cucumber or the Prosciutto — made with avocado, dry-cured Italian ham, a poached egg, heirloom tomatoes & the balsamic glaze.

Those with a sweet tooth can also indulge in their Dessert Toast, slathered in your choice of Nutella or PB, strawberries, banana, granola, honey & sprinkled with coconut flakes.

Each toast has the option of multigrain or sourdough bread for your base and is served on a rustic wooden board. If you want to keep your Swami Juice dessert a little more healthy, opt for an acai bowl instead.

They also have avocado salads that include vegan & meat-free options like the Tahini, as well as hearty meat-topped options like The BLT & Spicy Tuna. Everything at Swami Juice has no added sugars, preservatives, or concentrates, using real ingredients that they source locally from sustainably-grown operations as often as possible according to their website.

We're drooling at all these menu options already. If you're following us to Swami Juice, the hours, address, and menus can be found below.

If you're looking for more Florida foodie paradises, there's a stoner themed food joint in Florida that serves dank nugs and the fattest subs or enjoy massive bowls of noodles at a Dragon Ball Z Themed Ramen shop in Orlando — they're opening a new location in Jacksonville soon, and we've even seen a sneak peek at the inside.
