One of the things that prevents many people from adopting is fees. The cost of adoption fees, plus vaccines and all the supplies can be a bit to handle all at once. If you're looking for a new fur-ever friend, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay is waiving adoption fees for their cats.

Due to their shelter being at capacity, the Humane Society in Tampa decided to waive their adoption fees for kitties. With so many kitties needing a home, it only makes sense to drop the price on them to help them find their special human.

From kittens to adults to sweet and gentle senior babies, they're all looking for their new fur-ever home. If you're wanting to add to your family, now would be the time to do it.

There are quite a few kitties up for adoption - let's meet a few of the cuties below.

Moon is an 8-month-old black domestic shorthair mix kitten looking for his new forever home! He loves to sit on laps and is good with other animals and children - a perfect addition to any family.

Gunner is a 4-year-old male domestic shorthair mix. His previous owner says he's very shy and loves a quiet and calm environment. He's very kind and loving once he's comfy, and loves a good cuddle!

Pepper is a super sweet old girl; this 8-year-old domestic short hair looks like she has a little mustache, and isn't too needy. She tends to keep to herself but loves any attention she receives. Great for someone looking for a quiet girl.

All kitties must go home in a carrier, which you can purchase either before showing up or for $6 at time of adoption. All kitties come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

If you have a space in your heart and home for a new fur-baby, you can adopt a kitty from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay until the end of June, adoption fee-free.
