Tom Brady Got Kicked Out Of A Closed Tampa Park & 'Sighted' For Working Out

Apparently having six Super Bowl rings doesn't give you a free pass. Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was kicked out of a Tampa park after being caught working out in the closed park. He was reprimanded by the mayor at a news conference on Monday.
"Our parks are closed down, so a lot of our park staff, they patrol around just to make sure people aren't in there with contact sports and things," Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said in a news briefing with St. Petersburg mayor Rick Kriseman. "She went over to tell him that it was closed, and it was Tom Brady."
Brady, who recently signed a $50 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent, might have started the season off on the wrong foot by trespassing in the closed park.
Though Mayor Castor made fun of the incident by later by saying, "Well, there you go! He has been sighted."
The City of Tampa's Twitter account shortly followed up by tweeting their apologies for having to eject him from the park.
“Sorry @TomBrady! Our @tampaparksrec team can’t wait to welcome you and our entire community back with even bigger smiles — until then, stay safe and stay home as much as you can to help flatten the curve."

Following the news conference, there was some confusion on whether Brady was given a citation for the incident.
The city quickly went back to Twitter and clarified that the mayor said he was "sighted" not cited in the park.
While some cities have opened parks and beaches for recreational purposes in recent weeks, Florida is currently under a stay-at-home order.

While it's unclear if football season has been canceled, it's refreshing to see he's eager for the start of the 20th NFL season.
