We may still be in the midst of snowstorms and freezing rain, but it’s never too early to start looking optimistically ahead to spring. And, oh boy, is there a lot to look forward to. Not only can we say so long to winter, but we can say hello to Ontario’s largest lavender field. That’s right, Terre Bleu Lavender Farm will be open to the public again this year and it totally needs to be on your spring bucket list.

From vast fields filled with 50,000 plants to lavender cocktails and ice cream, you’ll be in a complete purple haze at this gorgeous Ontario spot.

You can also explore things like the herb bar and Ruins Cafe. And, of course, don’t forget to snap a selfie with the iconic yellow door or take a walk through their 200-year-old forest.

The farm is typically open from June 1 until September 1. However, this is largely dependent on weather conditions.

Located less than an hour outside of Toronto in Milton, Ont., Terre Bleu makes the perfect day trip destination for you and your BFF or one true.

So, if you’re obsessed with all things lavender, this is definitely the place to be this spring.

If you really need to satisfy your lust for lavender, a trip inside the farm store is a must.

Here, you will find a variety of products all crafted with the plants from the field.

On the weekends, you will need to pay a small admission fee to enter the farm store. On the less busy weekdays, though, entry to the shop is free.

You’ll find all sorts of breathtaking plants scattered around the farm, from multiple types of lavender to sunflowers and so much more.

It’s important to note that these plants all bloom at different times, so you’ll never see every field in bloom at once. Sounds to us like we'll have to make multiple trips to see all the beauty on offer.

Depending on when you visit, you may even see some majestic horses grazing in the fields as well.

In past seasons, admission has been as low as $10 on weekdays and as high as $20 during peak times, so you can likely expect similar fees this year as well.

Of course, it's important to remember there are no pets or smoking allowed. And, to further protect the lavender, be sure to stay on the designated walking paths.
