Tessa And Scott Will Be Doing One Last Performance Dedicated To Gord Downie And Here's How You Can Watch It

Tessa and Scott had an amazing run at this year's Winter Games, a record-breaking run at that! While we are ecstatic that they'll be coming home with two gold medals, we can't help but acknowledge how bittersweet the moment is. Pyeong Chang 2018, being the third Olympics they've done together but will also be their last.

If you found yourself gettingteary-eyed at their last performance thinking it would be the last time they'd take the ice together though, think again. Luckily for us, there is still one more "event" to look forward to. Tessa and Scott will have their last official Olympic run at the the gala skate. If you aren't an ice skating buff, it's basically an event where skaters are able to do their routines one last time completely unjudged.

In true Tessa and Scott fashion, they didn't want to just give us a great performance but one that would bring out all of the emotions. It's been noted that they will be performing to "Long Time Running" by the Tragically Hip in honour of Gord Downie, one of Scott Moir's 'heroes.'

The routine has actually already been done by the pair earlier in the skating season, only a few weeks after Downie had passed away. If you want to get a sneak peek at the performance before the gala, you can catch it here (though you might want to make sure you've got a box of Kleenex beside you).

The big event will be airing this Saturday night for Canadians at 7:30 EST if you want to catch the pair take the Olympic ice one last time. Knowing Tessa and Scott, this performance will definitely be one for the books!
