The 'Bachelor' Will Be Premiering A Lot Sooner Than You Think

While we're definitely in a bit of a Bachelor dry-spell, worry not. Apparently things are really heating up down in LA as Arie Jr. continues to film The Bachelor and fall in love. Though The Bachelor is usually set to air late in the month of January or February, ABC has decided to give the show a new start date.
ABC and The Bachelor franchise has experienced quite the bit of controversy. From the famous Bachelor In Paradise scandal this summer, to a producer suing for sexual harassment. It seems they want to get the new season - and some good press - moving!
Though fans were originally gutted to see Arie Jr. as the season lead instead of Peter Kraus, fans will still see Peter on Bachelor Winter Games - the new franchise spin-off that will air in February alongside the Winter Olympics! So see, Peter fans? It's not all bad! Former Bachelorette Emily Maynard said she has been wanting to see Arie find love since the end of her season, so there's definitely some hype!

The new season is definitely going to detail Arie's heartbreak on The Bachelorette, as he was super in love with Emily. It's bound to cover his career as a race-car driver turned real-estate mogul. The season is set to air earlier than ever, on January 1st, making it the perfect show to watch when snuggly and hungover.
