The “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” Official Trailer Was Just Released And It Looks Exactly Like “Riverdale”

If you ever thought “Happy Birthday” would always be one of the happiest songs on earth, think again. That’s because the creators of “Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina” just managed to creep it the f*ck up a notch.

Our very first teaser for the “Sabrina The Teenage Witch” reboot features ominous birthday candles, seances, demons, and even some romance to somewhat lighten the mood. The trailer gets you pumped and completely creeped out for what’s to come.

Clearly, the new show created by those responsible for the hit show “Riverdale” will not be as lighthearted and comedic as the original 90's "Sabrina." Since it’s going to be based straight from the Archie comics of the same name, we can expect it to be much, much darker.

The OG Sabrina, Melissa Joan Hart weighed in on her thoughts to Vogue - "I think what they're doing is smart, doing like the darker version. I think it's going to be more like Buffy the Vampire Slayer than the Sabrina that most people know,” she said.

The first season will include 10 one-hour long episodes and the filming of season two is already underway. The coolest part about the series? It’s got a Canadian touch. That’s right, Langley, B.C. is the chosen filming location for Sabrina Spellman’s modern-day witchy ways.

The highly-anticipated show, starring Kiernan Shipka, is set to premiere on Netflix Canada on October 26th to get you totally amped for Halloween. If you love "Riverdale," then be sure to check out this trailer. I feel some serious October binge-watching coming on.
