"The Devil Next Door" On Netflix Canada Is So Chilling It's Keeping Viewers Up At Night

A lot of us like to think that we know our neighbours at least somewhat well, and you actually may, but it's important to remember that some people are very good at putting on a facade and pretending to be someone that they're not so that you never really know them, even when you think you do. Most times this is nothing to really worry about, but in some very rare cases, the person who lives next door just may have a super dark past that will make your blood run cold, like in Netflix's latest true-crime series. The Devil Next Door on Netflix Canada has audiences so scared that they can't sleep.
Yesterday, November 4, Netflix added another new true-crime series to its ever-growing collection, and in true Netflix user fashion, some people have already binge-watched the entire thing and have taken to Twitter to let other crime drama addicts know if it's worth watching or not.
The series is called The Devil Next Door and is about a seemingly normal grandfather who lives in Cleveland with his family, whose life is unexpectedly turned totally upside down when he's suddenly accused of being the notorious Holocaust villain, Ivan the Terrible.

"The Devil Next Door on Netflix. Only start it if you have a good amount of free time and don’t need to sleep any time soon," one user warned. "If you like documentaries, Netflix’s The Devil Next Door is worth a watch. It was chilling to be reminded how recent the Holocaust was and I still can’t wrap my brain around how humans could be that monstrous, absolutely devastating," added another.

The chilling series has yet to be rated on Rotten Tomatoes, but it scored a 7.8/10 on IMDb. It consists of just five episodes, all of which range from 43-52 minutes in length, making it a longer binge-watch but definitely well worth it if you're a fan of the true-crime genre.
