We've been waiting all year long for this. The air is brisk, store displays are filled with fake snow and toy elves and there are twinkly lights hung from every street corner.
It's finally that time of year when we get excited to adventure outside and discover Christmas markets and shop for our loved ones - all the while holding a festive holiday drink in hand, of course.
Just last week, we finally found out the official date that Starbucks is launching their Christmas holiday drink menu this year. Now, we finally have the first look at what their holiday cups will look like.
Over the years, there has been much controversy over their holiday cups. Every year, Starbucks gets crafty with their elaborate designs for their coveted holiday cups. A few years back, they sparked controversy when they decided to go with plain red cups for the holidays. To say customers were furious is an understatement.
This year, Canadians can expect to see some very festive designs on their Starbucks cups this holiday season.
Starbucks is launching four new holiday cup designs that will be available in Canada and the US beginning November 2nd, 2018. The new designs are retro-graphic themed patterns. One is different holiday stripes of red, two others are old school Christmas sweater printed patterns and the last has festive holly across the cup.
In addition to their new cups, they'll have a limited edition Reusable Red Cup for sale. On November 2nd, Starbucks is giving away a free reusable red holiday cups to customers that purchase a holiday beverage while supplies last.
After, if you purchase a holiday beverage with your reusable red cup after 2 PM between November 2nd and January 7th, you'll receive 50 cents off of your order.
