"The Haunting Of Hill House” Season 2 Will Keep You Up All Night According To The Creator

It's based on multiple ghost stories!
The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2 Release Date

We've all moved on from spooky season and into the holiday spirit but The Haunting of Hill House creator, Mike Flanagan is pulling us back into the dark side with new info on season 2, The Haunting of Bly Manor. He revealed some important facts like a potential The Haunting of Hill House season 2 release date, what type of storyline this season will follow, and just how much more scary this season is expected to be in comparison to it's first.

Flanagan took the time to elaborate on the information we already know about the season. It was released earlier this year that season 2 would follow the events of the classic book Turn of the Screw, but Flanagan dished out something extra about the plot.

Not only will the Bly Manor take inspiration from that ghost story, but from multiple different ghost stories written by Henry James:

"We were able to open up his entire library of ghost stories, stuff that's never been adapted, and build the whole season out with the entirety of Henry James' supernatural library. And that has been a real treat, because we really get to do things that I've never gotten to see before."

Not only will there be more ghosts involved this season but they'll be even scarier than the ghosts inside Hill House.

Flanagan admitted that "It's scarier. It's a lot more frightening, just on a visceral level."

How is that even possible? Every Nextflix viewer was completely creeped out by season 1. It looks like we're all losing sleep in a few months.

He also discussed the potential release date of the newest season. While there is no specific date set, he did say that as far as production goes they're, "a third of the way through."

He also revealed that season 2 will hit the platform in early 2020.

We all better be asking for nightlight's this Christmas because it looks like we're gonna need them.
