“The Haunting Of Hill House” Season 2 Starts Filming In Vancouver In September, Here’s Everything We Know

Back in October 2018, Netflix welcomed a new series to its family of originals. This in itself isn't big news, as Netflix tends to bring several new projects to the platform every month, but this series, in particular, happened to blow up, so much so that a second season was announced. The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2 will be filming in Vancouver next month.
If you haven't checked out the first season yet, it's based on a 1959 novel by Shirley Jackson of the same name. The series followed the five Crain siblings, all of whom were dealing with different degrees of PTSD after growing up in their terrifying childhood home.
When a second season was announced just a month after the first one aired, fans were overjoyed to hear that they'd be getting more creepy stories. Although the news has been relatively quiet, what we have been told is that the second season will be called The Haunting of Bly Manor, and will tell a completely different story.
What we also know now, is that the show plans to begin filming in Vancouver on September 30. Because of the time it takes to not only shoot the show but also go through the editing process, it looks as though we'll be waiting until 2020 for the upcoming season.
As far as the storyline goes, The Haunting of Bly Manor will be based on the 1898 novel, The Turning of the Screw by Henry James. Mike Flanagan, the show's director has expressed an interest in turning it into an anthology, with some of the first season's characters returning to play different characters, similar to what they do in American Horror Story.
Both Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti, who played Nellie and Luke Crain in the first season have been confirmed for the second. Cohen will be playing a resident of Bly Manor while Pedretti takes on the role of a "governess who takes care of two very unusual children".
The rest of the cast has yet to be announced, but there's a very good chance that you'll see them out and about in Vancouver over the coming months!
