It’s time for a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde! The latest movie to make its way onto Netflix is called The Last Days of American Crime, and it tells the story of an unbelievable bank heist. The film is based on a graphic novel of the same name, and the recently released trailer shows that we’re in for the adventure of a lifetime.

The upcoming film takes place in the United States, where the government has decided to take a stand against terrorism and crime. They’ve devised a plan to broadcast a signal that will make it impossible for people to knowingly commit unlawful acts.

Enter Graham Bricke, a man who’s made a career out of being a criminal, but has never managed to execute the plan of his dreams. He teams up with a famous gangster progeny named Kevin Cash and a black market hacker named Shelly Dupree in hopes of committing the last crime in America before the government’s signal goes off.

The Last Days of American Crime is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Rick Remender and Greg Tocchini. It was directed by Olivier Megatron and produced by Karl Gajdusek.

Not only does the new Netflix original have a thrilling plot that’s sure to entice viewers, but it also has a star-studded cast that will only make it even better.

Sharlto Copley (District 9), Michael Pitt (The Dreamers), Édgar Ramírez (American Crime Story), Anna Brewster (Versailles), and Sean Cameron Michael (Last Broken Darkness) are just a few of the faces you’ll see in the upcoming film.

The official list of new releases for the month of June has yet to be revealed, although the streaming service has been teasing a stacked lineup.

Spike Lee’s latest project Da 5 Bloods, the Harlan Coben inspired series The Woods, and the final season of 13 Reasons Why are just a few of the titles that users can look forward to.
