The Lotto Max Just Hit The Biggest Jackpot in Canadian History

With the Lotto Max being one of the bigger lotteries that are played throughout the nation, it's no wonder that the jackpots are always growing. Today, the Lotto Max has announced that it has just hit the biggest jackpot in Canadian history, and the next winner could be taking home $65 million. Just imagine how much traveling you could do with that kind of cash.
In a press release from Lotto Max, they state that the number of draws that will be taking place on Tuesday, June 11 will amount to $75 million. This includes the jackpot of $65 million which is record-breaking for Candian lotteries.
The draw will also include approximately ten separate prizes of $1 million jackpots. So if you don't win the big $65 million you still have another ten chances of being a millionaire by the end of the night.
The draw will take place this Tuesday, which means if you want to test your luck you still have a few days to go pick up a Lotto Max ticket. If no one wins Tuesday's draw, the jackpot will continue to rise, crushing record-breaking numbers.
Why is the jackpot breaking records? Last month, Lotto Max announced that they would be adding a second weekly draw to help raise the total of the jackpot. On top of the usual Friday draw, the Lotto Max now has an additional draw on Tuesdays.
These two weekly draws mean that the Lotto Max jackpot could actually increase much faster than it has been able to in the past. For the first time in Canadian history, the Lotto Max can reach up to $70 million.
As you can already see, these weekly draws have already broken records. Back in 2013, a Canadian won the biggest lottery jackpot of all time at $63.4 million, which means if you're lucky enough to win on Tuesday, you will score the largest jackpot in Candian history.
However, even though the amount of money you can win in this Lotto Max draws is rising, it doesn't mean that your chances of winning are.
According to the Lotto Max website, your chances of winning the Lotto Max Main Draw jackpot in 1 in 33,294,800. However, the odds of winning any other prizes that are offered, like the small cash prizes, is 1 in 7.
