'The Princess Diaries 3' Has Been Confirmed, Here Is Everything We Know

In 2001, everything we knew about royalty changed. And that is because of Clarisse Renaldi, Queen of Genovia. When the Queen of Genovia came into Mia Thermopolis' life in The Princess Diaries, her life didn't just change. So did ours. The Princess of Genovia probably doesn't know how much that movie meant when we were kids, but Anne Hathaway does. She confirmed there is a script for The Princess Diaries 3and also confirmed a few other major things as well.

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last night, Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey were on promoting their new movie, Serenity. During a fan phone call, a woman asked Anne what we all want and need to know. The caller said, "Have you heard of about The Princess Diaries 3, since the author of the book said there is a script for the third movie". And her answer did not dissapoint.

Anne answered and gave us pretty much everything we need to know. She said, "There is a script for the third movie." And she goes on to say who wants to do it, and obviously, it's the most important people.

Anne continues on to say, "I want to do it, Julie (Andrews) wants to do it, Debra Martin Chase our producer wants to do it, we all really want it to happen. It's just we don't want to do it unless it's perfect because we love it just as much as you guys love it, it's just as important to us as it is to you. We don't want to deliver anything until it's perfect but we're working on it". Okay, princess queen! We hear you.

How exciting is this? Last year, we got the heads up that after 15 years, there would be a Legally Blonde 3, and Reese Witherspoon confirmed it. We don't deserve all of these threequels, but we'll take them with open arms. Just as long as Fat Louie, Mia's cat is in it, we'll be good to go.
