16 Guilt-Free Snacks That Will 100% Curb All Of Your Late Night Cravings

We all know the feeling. You've told yourself you're not going to eat anymore tonight, and then it hits you like a ton of bricks. All you want is a bag of chips, chocolate, ice cream, donuts, etc. The list goes on but you NEED something to snack on. If you're anything like me, you can't sit in front of the TV without a snack. However, there are definitely ways to keep it healthy without just reaching for a simple banana because obviously that's boring. 

The first thing I reach for is chips. And while there are some chips that are terrible for you, there are also some chips that ingredients are simple: just potatoes. And I'm not sure about you, but after dinner all I want is sweets. From Sour Patch Kids to chocolate bars, I want it all. There are also simple ways to change that up to! 

So if you're a snacking monster like the rest of us, you don't have to eat crushed ice to stay healthy in front of the TV. However, just like the rest of the day, portion control matters. But it's truly impossible to sit in front of the TV empty handed, so I got you. These are the healthiest packaged foods you can eat with no guilt in front of the TV at night–because fruits and veggies are boring.

Chips: 

Chips are my guilty pleasure. I'm absolutely not one of those people who can just have a couple... I need the WHOLE bag. So if you're anything like me, popcorn can be gone in a second as well and your bae or BFFs probably didn't even get any. And we all know chips can come with ingredients that aren't so good for you. Did you know that some chips even have milk ingredients in them? That's not needed! Chips don't have to leave you feeling guilty, and they shouldn't. 

Boulder Canyon Avocado Oil or Coconut Oil Chips

These chips are to die for. I can eat a whole bag in one sitting, and I don't even feel guilty. Obviously try not to do that if you can, but the ingredients are so simple you won't even feel bad. The ingredients are potatoes, coconut or avocado oil and sea salt. That's it! I guarantee they'll become your new favourite chip. 

Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato Chips

Who doesn't love sweet potatoes?! A ton of brands have gross ingredients in them, but these actually taste like sweet potatoes. It contains cane sugar which brings out the original sweetness of the potato, but it doesn't overdo it. 

SkinnyPop Popcorn

If this isn't a guilt-free snack, I'm not sure what it. It's so incredibly addicting that you won't be able to stop. SkinnyPop only has popcorn, sunflower oil, and salt in it if you get the original. However, they have a ton of other options that are guilt-free as well!

Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps

Good luck not eating the whole bag in one sitting. These also come in a ton of different flavours, and although it sounds weird, they're so good. They practically melt in your mouth and I've personally tried all the flavours and I love all of them!

Sweets: 

Never trust someone who says they don't have a sweet tooth, because they're lying. I always need something sweet after dinner, and even just a couple squares of dark chocolate does the trick! You don't need to completely cut sweets out of your diet to be healthy–that's just unreasonable. All you have to do is look for products with better ingredients!

LARABAR Bites

LARABAR is one of my favourite brands because the ingredients in all of their products is so simple. They lay it out for you right on the package, and there is no junk, no unnecessary oils or additives, it's just a bar full of healthy fats! And the bites are to die for. They come in a variety of different flavours that will leave your mouth watering. 

Bare Snacks Apple Chips

The ingredients? Apples. Or apples and cinnamon depending on which one you buy. These crispy apple chips are so delicious and will give you the best of both worlds: chips and sweets. 

Enjoy Life Cookies

Enjoy Life is one of my favourite brands. All of their products are dairy, soy, peanut, and gluten free and they don't taste like it at all. Their soft baked chocolate chip cookie is actually unreal, and you can read all of their ingredients as well which is definitely important. 

Theo Chocolate

Organic, non GMO, and delicious? Sign me up. You can read all of the ingredients easily in this chocolate bar as well but it doesn't taste like dark chocolate. Theo Chocolate is so creamy and they have a ton of different flavours to choose from!

Bars: 

There are a ton of healthy protein bars out there, but a lot of them have a ton of junk in them as well. Whey protein, which is filled with dairy, is not the best option when it comes to bars. Opt for a brown rice protein or a plant based protein, which will leave you less bloated. If you're starving while watching a TV show, a protein bar is a great option to fill you up and so your craving diminish. 

Square Organics Chocolate Coated Protein Bars

These taste just like a chocolate bar except better. With so many different flavours to choose from, you'll want to eat these every single day. The ingredients are simple too, and they're plant based so everyone can enjoy them! They're also dairy, gluten and soy free. 

KIND Snacks KIND Bars

KIND Snacks has so many bars I don't even know where to start. But let's start off by saying most of them are filled with nuts, dried fruit and sometimes chocolate. They're to die for. Dark chocolate nuts and sea salt is my jam, and I doubt there would be a bar you wouldn't like. 

GoMacro Bars

These are so delicious. It tastes like you're eating something naughty, but the ingredients are great. Made from brown rice protein, you can get these in all different flavours and I promise you, all of them are delicious. 

LARABAR Bars

Again, one of my favs and one of the tastiest. You can get these in all different flavours as well, ranging from chocolate brownie to lemon pie. They're so filling and will keep you full before bed if you're starving since they're filled with healthy fats!

Drinks: 

Maybe you're not hungry but just want something to sip on. Did you know that sugary drinks cause 8,000 cases of Diabetes each year? If you're addicted to soda, that could be the reason why you're not feeling well or can't seem to get rid of those extra pounds. Try switching to other version of bubbly drinks, which offer more nutritional value than the rest!

GT's Kombucha

Kombucha is definitely an acquired taste, but I personally love it. It contains a ton of probiotics which is so good for your gut. No matter if your stomach hurts or if you just want a fizzy drink, kombucha will cure it all. They have a ton of flavours and you can pretty much find it at any grocery store!

Zevia 

If you feel like you need a soda to wash down your chips, sweets or bars while watching a show, try out Zevia. It's a zero calorie drink that is made with stevia and you can actually read the ingredients! This is perfect for those trying to ween themselves off of soda, or if you want one every once and a while. They have flavours like Dr. Pepper which is named Dr. Zevia, cherry cola, cream soda, mountain Zevia, and more. 

La Croix Sparkling Water

Another fizzy drink to ward off those soda cravings! This sparkling water is so tasty and comes in a ton of flavours. It's being introduced into almost all grocery stores now so it's super easy to find. Drink this alongside your SkinnyPop popcorn and you'll feel healthy AF. 

Zico Coconut Water

Maybe you hate fizzy drinks but want something sweet. Coconut water is perfect because it's full of electrolytes (yes, more than Gatorade) and will keep you super hydrated. It has a sweet and unique taste to it but you can also get this in other flavours such as chocolate!
