Let's address the elephant in the room really quickly. It is absolutely freezing outside. Therefore, you've probably been hibernating a bit this week apart from your regularly-scheduled responsibilities. Though it's not exactly going to be summer weather this weekend, it will be a little warmer than it's been and it's time to get out and see some people other than the ones on your computer screen. There are tons of things to do in Calgary this weekend and you should take advantage.

We've pulled together a list of things to do in Calgary this upcoming weekend and we know you'll find at least one thing that will strike your fancy.

If you're into leaving the city on the weekends, we've got something for you, too. In fact, there are a couple can't-miss things going on this weekend in the Rocky Mountains and you should probably be there.

We get it, it's painfully cold in Alberta right now. But we're Albertans and braving the cold is what we do best. People were literally drinking on a bar patio last night in Edmonton in -32 C.

We've never let a little cold stop us in the past, why should this weekend be any different?

Check out this list, call up your friends, and plan for a memorable weekend in YYC.
