Remember watching the Harry Potter movies and just knowing deep down that you'd be a great witch or wizard? Calgary fans of Harry Potter will finally get to play out that fantasy. The Calgary Harry Potter pop up bar called The Wizard's Cauldron is coming next year and fans of the franchise can't wait.

You'll be brewing up magical boozy drinks while dressed up as an actual Hogwarts student in a potions class. With your wands at the ready, you'll swish and flick your way through an unforgettable 90-minute pop-up bar experience.

Reps for the Wizard's Cauldron confirmed with Narcity by email that it will be coming to Calgary next year sometime in March but the exact date has yet to be determined. This is such good news after they had to postpone their original plans to have the pop-up bar this fall.

Your ticket to this magical event will include your own robe and wand to use for the experience, the chance to make potions under the careful guidance of the potion master, plus a couple of boozy potions and mead or mulled wine.

Don't miss this event that combines two of our most favourite things: drinking and Harry Potter. Let your friends know this is happening and make a plan to bring the whole Harry Potter-loving squad to the event.

While Professor Snape will unfortunately not be in attendance, this pop-up bar is still perfect if you always wanted to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Tickets for the event will be really limited, so if you're keen to register for potions class, then you should get on their list to get notified when tickets go on sale.

Any Vancouver Harry Potter fans are also in luck because they can catch the Wizard's Cauldron Bar next year, too. Plus, they have a super luxurious and magical Harry Potter high tea. They're pretty spoiled in Vancouver.
