We absolutely love fall but our hearts definitely belong to the holiday season. As soon as we see the first frost in the morning, we get giddy with anticipation of snow and all things Christmasy. This year could be the best Christmas ever because the Calgary Miracle Pop-Up is coming back to Alberta this winter.

From Monday, Nov. 25 to Tuesday, Dec. 31 this year, you'll be able to see what all the buzz has been about in real life. This is the sixth year of Miracle's adorable Christmas-themed bars and they have been creating Instagram-envy ever since they first popped up. The Calgary event will be called "Miracle on 1st Street YYC" and it will be at Proof on 1st Street.

Last year, Proof was the only bar in Western Canada to transform into a winter wonderland. This year, there are over 100 pop-up bars across Canada and the United States spreading holiday cheer from coast to coast.

Each bar will have colourful and festive lights, a menu of cheeky holiday-inspired cocktails and heaping tons of nostalgia. Think of vintage holiday vibes. It's like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Miracle on 34th street but in a bar.

We're looking forward to sipping new cocktails like the Snowball Old-Fashioned and the Run Run Rudolph and old favourites will be returning like the Christmapolitan and the ever-popular Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r!

Why is a drink called Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r! on the menu of a Christmas pop-up bar? It could be because Die Hard is surprisingly one of the best Christmas movies ever made.

Even though one of the best holiday activities is to go look at lights, this is one event we can get behind because it's inside. Why not admire the holiday lights from the warmth of a bar with your hands wrapped around a delightful holiday drink?
