The Calgary Roughnecks Game Is The Ultimate St. Patrick's Day Party This Weekend

With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner Calgarians are looking for the best place to party. Our local lacrosse team has us covered and they're coming through with free beer and pizza at their next game at the Saddledome. Wearing their most festive jerseys ever, the Calgary Roughnecks are facing off against the Saskatchewan Rush in honour of the Celtic holiday on Friday, March 13 — well ahead of the holiday on Tuesday, March 17, making it the ultimate pregame party.
The first 3,000 fans through the doors will get a voucher for one free drink, whether it be a Budweiser, Bud Light, or a pop. The ticket also includes a free cheeseburger, pizza slice, or hot dog.
But come quick, because over 12,000 people are expected to arrive.
You can expect live music and St. Patrick's day themed giveaways during the game. Plus, you could even win a trip for two toif you're lucky.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., two hours ahead of the game. Pregame by taking advantage of their happy hour prices for beer, highballs, pizza, burgers, and more healthy-for-your-soul-but-not-your-body goodness.
After all, is it really St. Patrick's if you'rethe morning after?
With the amount of free booze and adrenaline floating around this party, this is sure to be a show-stopping,, rowdy mess of a time.
Fans who stay after the game can step onto the field themselves for a meet and greet with the players.
Afterwards, you can hang out with the players at the club's after-party, and maybe even snag a few autographs while you're at it.
