IKEA has just announced that they will be hosting massive Christmas parties at locations across the country this month and we cannot contain our excitement. IKEA Vinter Fest will be taking place in Western Canada at the Coquitlam, Richmond, Calgary, and Edmonton locations so both B.C. and Alberta residents can enjoy everything from festive activities to Swedish meatballs. This IKEA Christmas festival in Canada will make your Christmas dreams come true.

The Swedish Christmas parties will be taking place in the IKEA Restaurants and will include super fun holiday activities such as cookie decorating, card decorating, gift wrapping, music, a meatball and veggie ball station and souvenirs for you to take home.

Each location will have special exclusives. For example, Edmonton’s party will have an outdoor area on their patio and the Coquitlam location will have Santa in attendance for you to take holiday photos with. The best part? It’s totally free.

The Calgary and Edmonton events will take place on November 16 at 6 p.m. and the Coquitlam and Richmon events will be on November 17 at 4 p.m.

We don't know about you, but we can't picture a Christmas party taking place at a better location. Why not get your Christmas shopping, wrap your gifts, get in the holiday spirit, and eat some delicious Swedish meatballs all in one evening?

Some of the events are for IKEA Family members and their guests only, others are completely open to the public. If you’re not an IKEA Family member, it's free to register.

If wrapping gifts, making cards, and getting all set for Christmas is feeling daunting this year, this is the perfect way to check off your holiday to-do list while having fun.

Whether you're looking for a cute holiday date, a fun day with your family, or just a little extra Christmas spirit, this is where you need to be. Spots are filling up quickly, so RSVP now.
