Did you know that we have a spot where you can pick your own flowers in Edmonton? For a dreamy experience, it is hard to beat walking through a field of colourful blossoms. At this enchanting spot, you can not only see the flowers in bloom, but you can bring them home with you too!

The next time you are looking for something to do, you need to visit this adorable secret garden. Birchwood Meadows is located 40 minutes outside of Edmonton, and is the perfect place for an afternoon adventure.

Here they grow a massive variety of plants, including peonies, dahlias, cosmos and gladiolas. So when you walk around, there are always several types of gorgeous buds to enjoy.

The best time to visit is in the summer, as you can actually create your own bouquet. There are over 35 varieties of flowers available for you to pick, so you can go several times and always make something new.

The farm will provide everything you need, such as clippers and a bucket to collect your harvest. Then you can enjoy the sweet smells of the garden as you have the best time with your BFF creating bouquets.

Once you are done gathering all of your eye-catching buds, they will even wrap up your fresh flowers for you to bring home.

The exact opening date for the "u-pick garden" isn't yet set, as it depends on the weather.

That said, Birchwood Meadows told Narcity in a message that they aim to open sometime in July.

There will be a minimum purchase of $15, which isn't bad considering they also allows guests to take selfies in the garden. Plus, a regular bouquet costs just as much at the grocery store, but the one you create can have all of your favourite blossoms!

For those of you in a hurry, there will also be the option to purchase pre-gathered bundles of local seasonal plants too.

Throughout the year, the farm also offers a variety of fun workshops.
