Everything is better in purple. If you are obsessed with all things lavender, it is time to get excited. Now that tulip and cherry blossom season is over; it is all about the endless rows of sweet-smelling flowers in your favourite colour. To help you find the most breathtaking spots, we've made a list of B.C. lavender farms that you can visit magical fields of blooms this summer.

There is nothing better than breathing in the relaxing scent of the fresh purple flowers. Typically they start to blossom in mid-June and last well into the summer, but the exact times are up to mother nature.

One thing is for sure; you won't want to miss the chance to visit one of these local farms. There are going to be so many incredible photo ops that you'll have tons of content for Instagram for months to come.

When you are at any of the farms, you'll also want to stock up on calming essential oils or dried lavender to help you unwind at home and asleep faster. But you can also pick up supplies to mix into your baking or even boozy cocktails too.

You might think if you've seen one garden, you've seen them all, but each offers something unique. For example, you can wander through a labyrinth at Tuscan Farm Gardens while treating yourself to a scoop of lavender ice cream.
