You Can Watch A Horror Film Double Feature At A BC Drive-In This Weekend
"Joker" and "It Chapter 2" are playing.
October is the season of thanksgiving, cute woollen sweaters, pumpkin patches, and of course, Halloween. There’s nothing more fall-themed than to enjoy the crisp autumn air while watching a terrifying horror movie out in the open, possibly wrapped up in blankets sipping on a pumpkin-spiced latte. If you're after a B.C. drive-in horror movie, you're in luck.
This fall, you can grab your friends or your S/O and head on over to watch horror movies playing at a, the only one of its kind in the area.
Twilight Drive-In, located in Langley, is a drive-in movie theatre that will be exclusively playing two horror flicks,
What makes this event especially exciting is that you can watch both movies for the price of one. If that’s not a total game-changer, we don’t know what is.
Rain or shine, the theatre will be open from Friday to Sunday. The tickets start at $10 and go up to $30 for a carload of five people, which is the maximum. Watching horror movies in the great outdoors is a unique experience everyone should try at least once. That said, this event is not for anyone who has a fear of clowns.
Tickets must be purchased upon entry, there are no advanced ticket sales. Parking spaces are generally on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The main box-office accepts cash and debit and the concession stand is cash only. Don't worry, there's an ATM inside the concession if you’re not carrying cash.
Make sure you bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. You’re also more than welcome to bring your pets as long as you clean up after them and ensure they don’t go into the concession stand or the bathrooms.
The drive-in theatre’s concession stand features a variety of delicious beverages and food including freshly popped popcorn, veggie burgers, nachos, onion rings, fountain pop, poutine, ice cream, and candy.
All of the food and drink items are offered at affordable prices, so you don’t have to bust your wallet to enjoy a unique drive-in movie experience. Twilight Drive-In's website has answers to any questions you may have and information about upcoming shows.
