A brand new indoor light festival is happening soon and it’s closer to Vancouver than you think. If you’re a fan of Christmas lights, good drinks, and all things festive, this event is for you. The Seattle Christmas maze and light festival is happening this November, so you better start planning that weekend trip.

There are tons of epic Christmas light shows happening this winter in and around B.C. From Vancouver to Victoria, the whole province is lighting up in celebration of the holiday.

If you're in the mood for a little vacation or a short road trip for something extra special, this huge interactive Christmas light maze is your perfect excuse. Located in Seattle, this light maze boasts some of the best and brightest Christmas lights you can imagine.*

Seattle's indoor light maze and market opens to the public on November 29. According to Curiocity, the light show will take over a 100,000-square-foot space that will fill the room with “a million” twinkling lights. It sounds like something you simply need to see to believe.

There is literally nothing more romantic than walking around looking at Christmas lights. The awesome part about this event is that it is all indoors, so you don’t have to worry about getting cold.

In addition to the lights, there will be food trucks so be sure to come hungry. Much like the Richmond Night Market, there will be tons of unique things to eat and drink, including cocktails served in light bulbs.

Once you have a drink in hand, head down to the market area. This market will have over 30 vendors to shop from, so be sure to bring your Christmas gift list.

Once you are done checking out the maze, head to the Christmas light gardens. Here you can explore even more adorable twinkling attractions.

Now that fall is over, Christmas is just around the corner. Why not head down to Settle and take it all in? It’s only a short three-hour drive from Vancouver.
