Anyone who loves classic arcade games knows all about Pac-Man. Even though the game is pretty simple, the stakes feel so high and it's a rush to turn that final corner right when you're about to be eaten by a ghost, only to turn around and eat them instead. Soon, Vancouver Pac-Man fans can live out their arcade fantasies in real life with an immersive Pac-Man escape maze experience.

The maze is the "ultimate retro gaming experience" that will drop you into the game in real life. For one day only, the maze will be coming to Vancouver in May 2020. Imagine getting lost inside the Pac-Man maze with all of your friends, running away from ghosts and trying to catch fruit dropped all around the maze just like in the game.

Plus, there's a coded puzzle inside the maze and if you're the first to collect all the fruit and solve the puzzle — then you win and there are tons of prizes to be won. It's hard to win though because there will be ghosts trying to catch you and you can even "lose a life." When you're down three lives then it's game over for you. This is one pop-up experience you won't want to miss.

We absolutely love it when pop-up events like this come to Vancouver. In January, there's going to be the smash golf pop up coming, too. Plus, we're all looking forward to the long-anticipated Harry Potter pop-up bar.

This real-life Pac-Man inspired maze experience is the ultimate night out with friends. Put it down in your calendar so you remember in the spring that this is one of the most epic nights you'll have next year. Once you finish the maze, there's a place where you can paly a ton of other retro arcade games, too.

Tickets are surprisingly affordable and they're going on sale next week. You can even sign up to be notified when they're on sale so you don't miss out. The Maze is also coming to Calgary next year.
