Calling all goat-lovers! The world's largest goat yoga event is happening this summer near Vancouver. Maan Farms will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest goat yoga class ever and it promises to be the most adorable can't-miss event to kick off summer.
Grab your mat and cuddle a baby goat or two as you try to make it into the record books. After yoga class, everyone is invited to the strawberry fields to fill up their own u-pick pint of strawberries.
Maan Farms is one of the best places near Vancouver to do goat yoga. What is goat yoga exactly? It's a yoga class taught with a few disruptive cuties thrown in the mix. Whether you want to stop to give them a pat or use them to hone your mindfulness practice by always bringing your attention away from the goats and back to your breath.
There's more on Maan Farms than just goats and yoga. They have their own estate winery with plenty of delicious fruity wines. You haven't had sangria until you've had it made with their strawberry and raspberry wine. Plus, you can fill up on Mama Maan's homemade samosas and take home what you can't finish!
Maan Farms is located in Abbotsford, a little more than an hour's drive from Vancouver. The yoga class is outdoors and starts at 10 AM on Saturday, June 22. It will be followed by strawberry picking in the fields. Be sure to wear strawberry red or white clothing for your yoga class and bring your own mat for this special occasion!
