This Magical Waterfall Swimming Hole In BC Is An Easy 10-Minute Walk Away

Trent River Falls is a quick adventure on that is perfect for a pit stop to stretch your legs. It is three hours from Victoria, near Cumberland.
Round trip the journey is 2.1-kilometres, making it just slightly over a kilometre each way. Chances are you walk further to catch the metro.
Before you start, make sure you switch your footwear into hiking boots. Then to get to the waterfall, you'll follow the orange flags, which are easy to spot.
Most of the route is wide and flat, so it shouldn't give you any trouble. But the last section is more tricky as it is steep.
You'll need to descend a hill over a path covered in roots. If it has rained recently, the area can be slippery because of mud.
Thankfully there is a rope you can hold on to scramble downwards safely.
If you don't want to go all the way to the base of the falls, you can still enjoy a dazzling view only part of the way down.
Once you arrive, you won't believe your eyes. It is like a private lagoon, without any of the crowds.
There is a tall waterfall that tumbles over a rocky wall into a serene. It looks like something you would expect to find in the jungles of Costa Rica.
It might come to no surprise that locals love to go swimming here. Who can pass the chance to swim away from all the crowds?
Once you are done looking at, all you need to do is turn around and returned the way you came.
