Book lovers all know the joy you can get from buying books. Some bookstores are so charming that you wish you could stay there reading that vintage book you've been dying to start. For all you bookaholics, you'll want to check out this shop in Canada. This Nova Scotia bookstore has kittens that live there, and you can even adopt one to bring home.

Otis & Clementine's Books And Coffee is a heavenly stop for bookworms and cat-lovers alike. Located in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia, this fantastic retail space is worth the drive to visit.

So how do you make an already fantastic bookshop better? You add cute kittens to scamper around to greet the guests.

What sets them apart from stores like Indigo is that this independent second-hand bookstore is a place to enjoy a book and play with some purring kittens

On any given day, you can expect to see a handful of young kittens playing, sitting on couches and armchairs or even climbing bookshelves.

The owner, Ellen Helmke, told Narcity in an email that they "have several kittens and usually a mama cat as well." The cats are provided by South Paw Conservation Nova Scotia, a local rescue group.

The bookstore provides the adorable felines with a temporary home until they can be adopted.

But if you have your heart set on one to bring home, you need to act fast. Ellen Helmke says, "all the kittens are in and out fairly quickly, as they are adopted."

The adoption process is managed by South Paw Conservation Nova Scotia.

Applicants will need to give references and pay a $255 adoption fee that covers medical expenses for the pet.

Vistors of the shop are welcome to get cozy in a chair and play with the cats.

Who knows, you might leave with a good read and a new fluffy friend to bring home.
