This Town In Ontario Is Hosting A Massive Lilac Festival This Spring

One of the best parts of spring is all the blooming flowers. To celebrate all the blooming flowers, in Ontario there are tons of different flower festivals, like the Tulip Festival in Ottawa, the Cherry Blossom Festival in Toronto or the Lilac Festival in Warkworth.
Lilac season is always a gorgeous time of year when the sweet smelling flowers bloom in various shades of white and purple. One of the best spots to view and photograph lilacs is at the Warkworth Lilac Festival.
This year the Warkworth Lilac Festival will be held from May 25 to June 30, 2019, to celebrate the blooming lilacs. You'll want to make sure to bring your camera to this festival! As it takes place along the 2.6 km Millennium Lilac Trail where you can see rare and beautiful lilacs. Best of all, the festival is free to attend!
The month-long festival is celebrating its 9th anniversary and will be having its opening weekend on May 25 to 26, 2019. For the opening weekend, there will also be a festival market selling goods from local artisans, live music, and a Roaring Twenties Victorian Tea Party.
The Warkworth Lilac Festival takes place along the Millennium Lilac Trail (77 Main Street, Warkworth, Ontario). It is a 2 hours drive from Toronto, and 3 hours away from Ottawa.
