Who else is excited about the holiday season? Christmas is such a magical time in Ottawa, with so much to do and see. It's time to start planning which holiday markets and Christmas events in Ottawa you want to attend this year. You can never be too early with these things!

The entire city transforms into a fairytale-worthy setting covered in twinkling lights and snow every winter during the holiday season. Starting in November up until the new year, there will be non-stop festive events to enjoy around the National Capital Region.

This winter in Ottawa promises to be extraordinary. We'll finally be getting a huge Christmas market, just like in Toronto and Quebec City. Make sure to head to Landsdowne to visit Ottawa's first European-style Christmas Market.

You'll also want to load up the car with friends and head to the Magic of Lights, where you can drive through a sparkly 2-km tunnel and stay toasty. Finally, everyone needs to head to Miracle at Savoy Brasserie. This pop-up Christmas bar is going to be overflowing with kitschy holiday decor and will have a menu of fantastic holiday drinks.
