Fall is practically here, so it's time to start making plans! If you're looking for a fun activity, we've got you covered. Skip your regular plans to watch Netflix with your friends, and go watch a film together under the stars instead! At this fantastic drive-in theatre near Ottawa, you can watch all sorts of blockbuster movies.

While there aren't many drive-ins left, thankfully this one is only a short road trip away. Less than an hour outside of Ottawa in Perth, Ontario is the Port Elmsley Drive-In Theatre.

If you haven't been to a retro drive-in theatre, you're seriously missing out. Unlike a traditional movie theatre, you can talk as much as you want with your friends throughout the movie. Plus, if you happen to have a truck or a hatchback, you can get extra cozy by turning the back of your vehicle into a bed. To do this, you can bring lots of blankets and pillows and set up a bed for you and your friends to relax on.

This fall, the Port Elmsley Drive-In Theatre will screen all sorts of blockbuster movies. Their schedule changes week to week, so make sure to check their website regularly for updates.

Currently, the drive-in is screening the action-packed Rambo: Last Blood and drama, Hustlers. Some of the planned upcoming movies include Joker, Maleficent, and Terminator: Dark Fate.

Another big perk about watching a movie at a drive-in is how cheap it is! On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, you can watch two movies for just $12 a person. That's a great deal because it's much cheaper than going to a regular theatre to watch two movies.

So, what are you waiting for? It's time to invite your friends to the drive-in this weekend. Port Elmsley Drive-In Theatre's box office opens at 6:45 p.m., and you can buy your tickets then. The first movie starts around 7:20 pm and the second movie begins shortly after the first.
