This magical Halloween village has 7000 glowing pumpkins! 🎃
If there's one event you need to attend this fall, it's gotta be Pumpkinferno at Upper Canada Village. Every fall, the Upper Canada Village magically transforms into a Halloween village with 7000 hand-carved glowing pumpkins! This year, Pumpkinferno will take place from Sep. 27 to Oct. 27, 2019.
Pumpkinferno is the ultimate Halloween experience, where you'll be able to explore a breathtaking Halloween wonderland. This year promises to be the best yet, as there are tons of new exhibits to discover. Make sure to dress warmly to enjoy this stunning experience.
Here's what you can look forward to this year:
- Enchanted Forest - discover the mythical fantasy-inspired setting where you'll find wizards and toadstool houses
- Power To The Pumpkins - taking inspiration from comic books, pumpkin superheroes will battle the evil Lord Gourd
- Who Let The Dogs Out - tons of adorable dogs made out of pumpkins
- Field Of Phantoms - glowing pumpkins and blacklights will give the illusion of spirits lurking in the night
For 2019, many of the popular exhibits will also return. You'll be able to "stargaze" with the Pumpkin Planetarium, where the solar system will be made out of pumpkins! You can even step back in time at the Psychedelic 60s exhibit, which will be a cultural nod to the 50th Anniversary of both Apollo 11 and Woodstock.
There'll also be plenty of patriotic pumpkin displays! In the Great White North, you'll explore Canadian arctic nights with the Northern Lights, or find Inukshuk with a huge polar bear. Sports-lovers are sure to love Patriotic Pastimes which pays tribute to Canada's iconic sports and players.
At Pumpkinferno, you'll want to make sure to stop by the newly updated Cauldron Corner Cafe. There, you can enjoy eerie entrees, bewitching beverages, and deadly desserts! Or, you can warm up at the Village Cafe with a delicious pumpkin spice latte and some of their mouthwatering sugar cookies.
Due to the popularity of Pumpkinferno, you'll need to purchase your tickets online. This year, tickets will be for specific dates and times, and only a limited number of tickets are available each night!
