The Royal Botanical Gardens Arboretum Is Now Open & It's A Lilac Paradise

While you may have missed out on High Park's cherry blossoms this year, you still have a chance to see some other gorgeous spring blooms. This popular Ontario garden has begun to reopen just in time for lilac season. Get ready to have your world purple-ified, because the Royal Botanical Gardens Arboretum is now open and it's filled with flowering lilac bushes.
It's not too late to get your flower fill. Cherry blossoms may be past their peak, but now the lilacs are in full swing.

After closing in March, the RBG has slowly begun the process of reopening.
have already opened up for public use, and now you can visit the Arboretum as well.
The Arboretum officially reopened on May 27, just in time for the lilac bloom.
You can wander through theseand breath in their fresh, floral scent for the perfect spring adventure.
The area is home to one of the largest lilac collections in the world, with over 600 varieties.

Admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There is limited parking available and reduced capacity in order to promote social distancing.
In celebration of the Arboretum's reopening, discounted admission is being offered until June 4.
The RBG is asking guests to keep their visits to a one hour maximum to ensure that others get a chance to see the gardens.
For health and safety reasons, it is recommended that visitors wear PPE. There are portable washrooms and hand sanitizing stations available on site.
Admission is $15 per adult, and includes access to select trails.
