We all remember the days of Manic Panic hair dye, fingerless gloves, and serious My Chemical Romance obsessions (mostly because Facebook keeps reminding us, in fairness.) And though our peak emo days may be behind us, a true emo kid will never turn down the chance to belt out their old favourites one more time! So, bust out the striped leg warmers and jet-black eyeliner and get ready to feel young again at one of the numerous emo concerts in Toronto this fall!

Breaking Benjamin

Price: Starting at $36

When: Monday, Sept. 2

Address: Budweiser Stage, 909 Lake Shore Blvd. W.

Why You Need To Go: If you didn't know every word to "Diary of Jane," were you even an emo kid? You can listen to all your old favourites and newer hits as Breaking Benjamin hit the Budweiser Stage this fall.

Our Lady Peace

Price: Starting at $34

When: Sunday, Sept. 15

Address: Budweiser Stage, 909 Lake Shore Blvd. W.

Why You Need To Go: Our Lady Peace has been around since the early '90s and for good reason. From "Superman's Dead" to "All You Did Was Save My Life," there's probably an OLP song, or likely a handful of them, you know every word to.

Enter Shikari

Price: $25

When: Thursday, Oct. 3

Address: Mod Club, 722 College St. W.

Why You Need To Go: Who wouldn't want this band of English chaps screaming in their face? With seven albums under their belt, you're sure to feel "The Spark" at the upcoming Mod Club show. You'll likely find yourself having so much fun that you want to "Stop the Clocks."

Avril Lavigne

Price: Starting at $55

When: Sunday, Oct. 6

Address: Sony Centre, 1 Front St. E.

Why You Need To Go: Whether you're a fan or not, everyone knows the words to Avril's iconic "Sk8r Boi." Come belt your heart out and sing along to all of her hits at the Sony Centre (soon to be Meridian Hall) this fall! And can we just take a moment to appreciate how well Avril still rocks the emo look!

Taking Back Sunday

Price: Starting at $45

When: Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Oct. 27

Address: Danforth Music Hall, 147 Danforth Ave.

Why You Need To Go: Now celebrating a remarkable 20 years together, this band has been around the block a few times. But, one thing is for sure, we'll never be telling Taking Back Sunday that "You're So Last Summer." In fact, this fall they're in Toronto for two nights so "MakeDamnSure" you grab your tickets!

City and Colour

Price: Starting at $55

When: Friday, Nov. 22

Address: Scotiabank Arena, 40 Bay St.

Why You Need To Go: We loved him in Alexisonfire, and we love him just as much (maybe more) as City and Colour. A true Canadian gem, Dallas Green is "Coming Home" this fall, so save the date and your scissors because this is one show you won't want to miss!

Price: $10

When: Fridays

Address: Sneaky Dee's, 431 College St.

Why You Need To Go: When all else fails, you can always count on Homesick Emo Night to play some of our old favourites. Hosted weekly at Sneaky Dee's, you can rock out to the best emo hits and enjoy $4 beers before midnight.
