If you love playing sports but can't stand the scorching Toronto heat then this brand new indoor soccer facility is about to light up your world. Soccer Glow Kingdom, which just opened in June, is the first facility in Canada to offer glow-in-the-dark soccer indoors. From the neon soccer field to the luminescent pool table and so much more, this is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. So grab your BFFs and head over to the kingdom to enjoy the most lit indoor soccer in Toronto.
In addition to soccer, you can also enjoy glow-in-the dark pool tables, giant wearable bubbles, foosball, and even a video game room!
It's not just the venue that glows either! Glowing pinnies, soccer balls, cups, utensils, napkins, and balloons are also available.
The facility is open every day of the week for drop-ins, or you can call ahead to rent private playing time. Drop-ins will cost $10 per person, but special event prices vary. You can see all of the available pricing on the Soccer Glow Kingdom website.
There is a vending machine on-site, and players are encouraged to bring in their own food and drink, as long as you keep it off of the field. You'll want to leave your soccer cleats at home though, as they are strictly prohibited in order to protect the elite turf.
While the neon colours make for a fun and exciting night out, it's really all about the physical activity for owner Gonzalo San Lucas and his mother, Rosemary Capicotto.*
“As a close-knit family my children have always loved playing soccer and being active has always been important to us,” Capicotto told Narcity.
And, when her son was diagnosed with diabetes, the importance of exercise only increased.
"We created Soccer Glow Kingdom for families to come together and keep their children active especially those who love soccer like my little boy," Capicotto added.
Capicotto explained that the Soccer Glow Kingdom can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The kingdom is open every day of the week.
