Ontario Place Is Getting An Enchanting Winter Light Installation To Explore This Month

During the winter in Ontario, there are lots of reasons to stay indoors. One look at the snowy weather outside is enough to send anyone running for a blanket and cup of tea. This dreamy festival opening soon in the city is worth braving the cold for. You can wander through giant glowing installations at the Ontario Place Winter Light Exhibition next month.
Get ready for some magic to be added to this frosty season, because this exhibition has some spectacular glowing pieces to explore.
Theis returning to Ontario Place for another year from February 8, 2020, to March 29, 2020. There is no admission cost, so you can visit for free!
The festival runs daily from 4 P.M. to 11 P.M.
West Island will be transformed into 15 acres of luminous wonderland that you can adventure through.
Cozy bonfires will take place every week from Friday to Sunday so you can defrost from the chilly weather.
Warm-up with a steamy cup of hot chocolate and gooey s'mores by the crackling fire while enjoying the winter views.
There will also be a snack shop running every Friday to Sunday where you can grab a treat.
This year's exhibition theme is 'Cocoon'. Wander through immersive installations that will add some warmth to your winter night.
Two giant illuminated mammoths will greet you as you pass by, and a massive stained-glass football helmet provides an interesting space to explore.
Immerse yourself in eternal glowing canvases at the Lumina exhibit, and enter into your own fantastical cocoon at SURROUND.
Journey through a radiant passageway with a light show at the end, and stand beneath a colourful cloud.
